Outlook Tip #7 - Find Related Messages Swiftly

Outlook Tip - Automatically Clear Up Messages That Are Not Needed

The previous tip showed you how to file messages with a single click. This tip will share how to find related messages quickly in your mailbox.

Tip 7: Save time and effort by finding related emails quickly

In an ideal world everyone would reply to messages immediately and you never have to keep track of email threads. But of course that never happens. More often than not people reply late and several conversations later, you have to hunt to find the original email that started it all. With Outlook however, this need not be a struggle. Here are two ways you can quickly find related messages in your mailbox:

Method 1

Step 1: Right click on any message in your inbox (or in any other folder)

Step 2: In the menu that appears, choose "Find Related"

Step 3: Under this, select "Messages in this Conversation" and click on it.

Method 2

Step 1: Open any email in your mailbox

Step 2: Go to the "Message" view in the Outlook ribbon on top

Step 3: Go to the "Editing" tab and click on "Related"

Step 4: Under this, select "Messages in this Conversation" and click on it.

Outlook will instantly display a list of all emails in this conversation that it could find, saving you precious time and effort.
